Network Member Spotlight

We’re featuring Joshua Parker, who teaches mathematics at Colchester High School in Colchester, VT. Josh, a member of the network since 2017, always works to build connections with his students through learning.  

“One of my favorite things about teaching Algebra is establishing a solid base for students in their mathematical understanding. I know that for most of my students, my classroom feels like a very different one than they are used to. I enjoy encouraging students to collaborate and gain confidence in a subject that they often approach with caution. Through this collaboration my classroom establishes itself quickly as a learning community. Being a part of this community is one of my favorite things about teaching.”
